It’s been awhile

It’s been awhile since I updated anything on this blog ...to say jr high thei high school years did a number on taking up any spare time I had is an under statement.   Megan is now 20, a sophomore in college and majoring in Nursing.  We savor the time we have with her.  This past week she spent the week in Tennessee with her cousin Jessica and made a pit stop at home for the weekend prior to heading back to IWU.   Les & I decided to drive to Bloomington to eat supper with her before she made the rest of the trek back to school.   It also happened to be my birthday on the 5th and I got to chose where to eat!  Seafood is my favorite and Red Lobster wasn’t far off the beaten path for Megan so that’s where we decided to go.   Natalie joined us via FaceTime while we were waiting to order and nice to hear about the adventures God took her on in Houston, Texas with a missionary team from Campus Ministries at GVSU where Natalie is 18 and about to wrap up in her first year of college  there.   She is majoring in exercise science with intent to go into grad school for Physical Therapy.  Griffin has been performing as a soldier in "The Promise" production of Christ’s life this year so he was unable to make it to dinner with us.  But never fail we brought him food home after all he is a growing boy!  He is age 14 qnd pushing 6’ pretty quickly and towers over his momma...he’s just about to catch up with his dad!    He is being homeschooled and enjoys being able to help out on the farm.
