In His eyes, you are a ruby.

What a wonderful time we had last night!!   You can't believe how SUPER EXCITED we were when we drove by and saw Antioch's sign that said Mission Six was coming to their church for a concert and how EVEN more thrilled we were to find out RUBYZ were going to be there too!  We have both groups CD's and even had seen M6 in concert a couple of years ago.  But Rubyz the girls LOVE their music and Cammie & Alexis are amazing Christian role models for the girls as well.  The name of their group is based from the scripture in Proverbs 31:10....  You are precious, stunning, and simply unforgettable. In His eyes, you are a ruby. 

Love it! Proverbs is my favorite book of the Bible and this verse is just one of the hidden "jewels" in that book.  I love that is what they associate with their group and singing. The girls wanted their, cousin, Mallory to come with them, so it was really special that she got to rock the night away with them! The girls also got to meet Alexis and Cammie after the show and got their autographs. Such sweet girls!

They also got to greet and meet the guys from Mission six who equally have a great message they give representing Christ and giving all glory to God.  They are extremely talented in their music and singing abilities.  They are called Mission Six, because the 5 of them are on a Mission for the unseen 6 member of the band who is the most important, GOD.  The scripture they associate with their band is 1 Timothy 4:12 which says, Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.  The band encourages kids that NO ONE is ever too young to do big things for GOD!  Our girls were right up in the front row and stood and danced and JUMPED around the entire time of both concerts.  When the girls got home both of them said their legs felt like jello! LOL! Griffin was up there for a little bit but he got tired and came back to sit with Les & I.  He went home with Les so he missed out on the picture taking and autographs.

But he did get to see the power team at school on Friday and again last night.  Friday at school, Griffin, got picked to be a volunteer and got a piggy back ride from one of the BIG STRONG guys!  The girls were excited for him and said that the guy said "Griffin was about as light as his shadow!".  Pretty funny!  Griffin thought he was big stuff and was super excited to get to see the guy breaking bricks with his arms.  And between Uncle Doug and Daddy, Les, Griffin got to bring home a piece of the broken brick and had "Joel" autograph it!  The girls also got to get their picture taken with him too. Kaelyn was close by so she got in on this picture too.  Definitely a fun time had by all!!
