# 21 Days 4 Boys Day 1 - Heart Change
“Now the sons of Eli were worthless men. They did not know the Lord” 1 Samuel 2:12
Today’s study/prayer reflected on scripture regarding how Eli failed to raise his sons to know and fear the Lord and the Lord held him responsible for his actions. The Lord cursed Eli’s lineage saying “There will not be an old man in your house” (1 Samuel 4:17). WOW! ! God takes the way we raise our sons quite seriously.
I realize this world we live in is broken and is a battlefield to raise my son as a Godly man. One of the key points this study revealed is the battle is best fought on your knees.
May Griffin draw near to God, and He will draw near to him. May he cleanse his hands and purify his heart (James 4:8)
*It’s my hearts desire that Griffin will walk in God’s Love and grown to be a Godly man/leader and be a God’s Mighty Warrior.

The study also asked who were role models your son have in their lives? I’m so blessed to have men that breathe life and instruction into Griffin :-)

Who are the Godly men that walk along your sons? If not, try to think of one man you could ask to be a stronger part of their lives and commit to praying the Lord would put this need on their hearts.
