Labor Day Weekend

So we met up with my sister and her family at the Indoor Water Park in French Lick over Labor Day weekend. We had a great time aside from not being able to check into our rooms until close to 7:00 p.m. due to the fact that people forget to check out of their rooms because they are busy playing in the water park....uhhhum...we just about did the same thing! YIKES! Definitely not used to plastic bracelet being your "key" to your room, therefore, forgot I had to check out at the front desk..but good thing my sister was on top of that and reminded me!

They LOVED the big slides!
Griffin was just 2" short of being able to go down the big slides so he spent most of his time by this smaller water slide area and played really good and had alot of fun there...until we were ready to leave he had a mishap on the slide and bumped his chin and had to make a trip to the First-Aid Station to get a Band-Aid.
We spent the night on Sunday night and as you can see the "boys" had a great time with the pillows! I'm not sure who is the bigger kid, Griffin or Les?

After we finished at the water park we headed over to the Amazing West Baden Hotel to show the kids some "history"...Natalie remembered that Les & I had made a get-away to the hotel last year for our anniversary...so when we were telling them about how old the hotel was and the different historical events....she said "Mom & Dad even have a History here!" LOL! It was too cute!

Griffin found the Harley Davidson shop in the hotel and charmed his dad into buying him a new hat! He's such a cutie pie!
Of course we had to stop by the billiard room for a game of pool!And the Ice Cream Shoppe was too hard to resist with the smell of freshly baked ice cream cones! Which we enjoyed out on the veranda and enjoyed some rocking in the chairs as well.

We had a really good time visiting with my sister and her family and enjoying our little over night adventure. The girls without being told kept saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU for bringing us here. Mom & Dad had fun too!
