Megan's Homework

Megan has had homework every night from the very 1st day of school. A couple of nights she has had two hours of home work....so sometimes we split it between the night and the morning...because she is so wore out when she gets home. She is definitely more "fresh" in the morning even if she has to wake up a little earlier. This morning she was finishing writing a paragraph where she had to split the verbs from the subject. Megan has not complained at all about doing her homework, she knows it has to be done. Here's a picture of my studious child finishing writing the last couple sentences of the paragraph. The hairbrush is there because pretty much that is where they do their hair in the kitchen...I know not the best hygiene but we multi-task when getting ready for school. She has been complaining that her shoulders hurt...well this morning I pretty much have figured out why!!! Check her back pack out with all her homework in it!!! It's crazy...we weighed her back pack....18.2 pounds! Can you believe that!???! It's a good thing she is a strong little lady. She said "Mom I weigh 96 pounds with my back pack on".... Heaven help her...poor little thing...my shoulders would be hurting too! Think I could get a doctor's excuse to not send so much homework home??? LOL

that seems like too much homework...and too many books to cary! WOW poor girl! Maybe she could cary some in the bag and hold some??? Make sure she's using both straps to cary the bag...

Wow, that's a ton of homework! Maybe since she has 3 different teachers, they do not realize how much work each of them is giving? Maybe they should only give homework in certain subjects on designated days?! Way to go, Megan for being such a hard worker...and strong girl too!

Susie-just reading this makes me tired, I can only imagine how Megan feels, Poor Thing!!
You might need to invest in a chiropractor to help her back from carrying all those books.
