BR Prom 2009

Saturday night we ventured out to The Barr-Reeve Grand March. We got to see Neal & Beth, who were looking pretty snazzy. Beth always looks pretty but Neal only a few hours prior to the prom was stomping through the turkey barns so he definitely cleans up to a sharp dressed man!

Our little Miss Cassie (who's not so little anymore) attended her first prom this year as a Junior. She was absolutely GORGEOUS! She was all dolled up and even got her nails done and she had her bling bling going on...so I had to take a picture of that....she thought I was completely crazy!! She is typically your blue jeans/sweatshirt throw your hair in a ponytail kind of a gal and she informed me she is only wearing 3 dresses in her life, 2 proms and her wedding dress so I thought I'd better get a picture!! Back before Christmas, Cassie had asked Griffin to be her prom date! He was SUPER EXCITED about that except he told her that he wasn't going to wear a pink dress like her but that he was going to wear a black dress! (ha ha). Well when it came time at grand march when he saw her walk out with her date....he got so upset and started crying...not because she was with some other guy but because She didn't look at him and he wanted to be closer to her!! Bless his heart, he loves her so much. As soon as grand march was over he made a bee line to her and gave her a big hug!My sister and her daughter, also my niece, Jessica came down to see Cassie too! Cassie had her little papparazzi fan club (Megan, Natalie, & Jessica) flocked all around her to take pictures with her. There are only 4 1/2 years between Jessica & Cassie...look what a difference those few years make!!! We were looking through some old pictures Saturday morning and found a picture of Cassie at the same age Jessica is now (12) and Jessica even said "who am I holding in that picture"...well it was actually Cassie holding my other niece!! Hillarious...so Leanne/Kevin...look at Cassie in this picture and see what Jessica could look like in just a few short years!!! AHHHHHH I know hard to believe because my girls are right behind her!?! Natalie wore her pink dress so she would match Cassie (they both love pink!)

So after grand march and a quick check on the turkey barns we headed to Washington to get some ice cream at scoops! My other niece, Chloe, is now employed there and makes great ice cream cones!
I had Razz-nilla (DElicious!) Megan had Chocolate Fudgy, Natalie good ole vanilla, and Griffin ventured for orange sherbert and Les got his favorite Butter Pecan we are an eclectic bunch when it comes to ice cream! ha ha. While we were eating our ice cream outside, my nephew, John also stopped by Scoops so we got to visit with him and meet a couple of his friends! So it was a nice way to wrap up the evening and head on home!

Cassie was so beautiful...we were there to see my cousin Brittany Ash...prom dresses have really changed since I went to highschool! My parents would have never let me out of the house in some of those dresses!!!!
