Pre-Race pictures of Chloe getting ready.
The Race! The pics are not the best..but it is so hard to cheer and take pics at the same time! Especially when you have half of Indiana's most elite runners racing together!! I was so nervous and the competition is so thick!
But Chloe showed us and everyone else what it takes to make it to STATE!! She is so awesome!! Les was farming so he didn't get to go watch her run but called before her race began and told me to call him as soon as she crossed the finish line! We'll needless to say I could barely talk because I was crying from being so proud and overjoyed for our Chloe!! Her coach was very proud of her as well as the rest of us! Especially since she writing a whole new history book at WHS for Cross Country records. She is the first girl at WHS to win regional and the first girl to go to State Finals!! As well as just in the last 3 years they increased the high school girls cross country to a 5K...so now she is record holder for that too! YEAH CHLOE...and the best thing you'd never know it because she is so sweet and humble...she just goes out there and gets the job done, no complaining, and finishes with a smile on her face!
Our local newspaper sports man came and interviewed her again. So I'm sure that will be in tomorrows paper.
Chloe has quite a lot of groupies that chase her around the state to cheer her on...and we LOVE every minute of it!
There is always time to kill while waiting for the race to start and the kids manage to have fun while they wait....see below!
Chloe's Dedicated Fans not only include her family but as well as the WHS girls and boys Cross Country teams...They brought up the BIG HATCHET BUS just to come cheer her on...which she and John got to ride home and have lunch with the team and spend a couple hours at the Bloomington Mall. I'm sure that was alot of fun for them!

What more can we say WE LOVE YOU CHLOE and can't wait to see you do it again next week ~ what a way to celebrate Megan & John's B-days!!
