Fall Break ~ Grandma's Road Trip

Grandma called yesterday morning and planned a spontaneous road trip with the granddaughters! They were beyond excited! Natalie and Griffin had their colts jerseys on and Grandma thought it would be neat for them all to dress the same so she could keep an eye on them easier. So Griffin let KK borrow one of his. He wasn't quite sure about not going but he is going to get to spend some one-on-one time with grandma soon so then he was OK with it. She took them over to Bedford for a boat ride through a cave. The girls had a great time especially getting to spend time with Kaelyn too! All the girls like to collect rocks and grandma let them do a little gem mining while they were there. Natalie was showing me all of her "treasures" last night. KK & Natalie chose rocks as their special gift from grandma and Megan picked out a Necklace that was shaped like a turtle made from rocks. She also took them to lunch at a mom and pop burger place and then on the way home they stopped in Shoals for ice cream as well as Grandma took them by to see Breanna, Emily, & Ethan, 2nd cousins on grandma's side...which they just happen to have a trampoline that the girls got to jump on...what a great way to end their road trip!
