Wednesady, March 17, 2009, St. Patrick's Day, we decided to just hang out at our home away from home. The pool had fresh new water in a pool with no heaters, and with the unseaonsonable cool weather they had the prior week, the water was.....lets just say FRI
GID! It literally felt like ice water to me...but it was still 85 degrees that day and nice day to lay by the pool. The girls played volleyball and basketball and other outside games they had there...and Griffin he was the brave soul that still played in the water and took breaks shivering and wrapped up in a towel to warm up! The kids all managed to get sun-kissed and their freckles popped right out on their cheeks. Les & I played some volleyball with the girls while Griffin made sand castles in the sand. It was a really good day just playing outside.
Later that evening We headed over to San Marcos, where they have an AMAZING outlet mall! The kids put on their St. Patrick's Day shirts and we just went to a couple of stores as we only had a couple hours before they closed. We managed to find a "chocolate factory store" and the Kids all got HUGE chocolate chip cookies to finish off the day! It didn't take much to get them to bed as they were wore out from their day of playing out in the sunshine! That brings us to day 6.....stay tuned!

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. I've enjoyed reading all about it. I was praying the water would be warmer, but at least you could still enjoy the sunshine!!
