Today we had Griffin's check-up with the dentist. He was so excited about going. He is such a little man. You should have seen him "strutin" back to the chair. He had his shoulders all cocked back and his chest all puffed out! It was so funny. He is quite the little talker. The hygienist was going on about how he was bigger this time and now he was 4, and he was like "yeah, but when I'm 5, I will really be bigger"....like being 4 was old news...now that he has been 4 for not quite even one month! ha ha. 
He couldn't wait to have his teeth cleaned, he jumped right up in the chair and was ready for business. They counted his teeth, he has an extra tooth on the top that is fused to his other front teeth. I told him he is extra special to have an extra tooth. We'll wait till he is older to see what that will bring, maybe an extra adult tooth, no adult tooth, or smaller adult tooth? It's a mystery until his mouth gets big enough for them to take the x-ray. Nothing to be concerned about...they just get to mark on his chart he has 21 teeth instead of the normal 20 most children have.
They also put vitamins on his teeth to make them healthy. Last time they had to "paint" it on his teeth but since the last time his mouth has grown so he got to use the trays. He thought this was fun and we told him he looked like a duck. He was trying to smile but with all that in his mouth it this was as best as he could. He did a great job. And he got to choose between power rangers toothbrush or a Cars toothbrush...he went with "Ka-chow" a.k.a. Lightening McQueen!
