Tuesday was Natalie's Spring Program. The entire show was Patriotic theme. Mrs. Hawkins is the one of the most amazing music teacher's EVER! She gets those children not only singing beautifully but also they are having FUN while doing it!! The second graders read the Gettysburg Address during one of the songs and let me tell you I was brought to tears hearing that read by those tiny voices....makes you realize that our forefathers really were fighting for future generations!! Natalie's 3rd grade class was the last to perform and she got to be a ribbon dancer for their last song "God Bless the USA". Natalie enjoyed getting to learn new songs and practiced them every day prior to the program. She was all smiles through the entire performance and she loved every minute of it! Of course we enjoyed watching her too!!
Natalie is also blessed to have cousins that also attend Barr-Reeve so we also got to see Kaelyn & Connor perform with their 1st grade class. Connor even got to hold the letter C in the word America for one of their songs! Kaelyn is quite the little song bird too and sang her little heart out! After the big performance Daddy-O Les took us to DQ for treats! Yummy!
